A future
without malaria 

Malaria remains the world’s oldest, deadliest killer and still claims the life of a child every 2 minutes, accounting for 2 to 5 percent of all deaths.

 

By using interactivity, we wanted to show the audience a bright future is possible in their lifetimes, free of Malaria and all diseases to get people to support the cause.

We used AR and a Messenger experience to transport people to the future, where they could see and speak to their future self, giving them the power to make change and act today.

 

The interactive elements of the campaign had positive results across all dimensions: +6.3pt lift in Ad Recall (+95k people) +3.6pt lift in Campaign Awareness (above Non-Profit vertical norm of 2.2pts) +3pt lift in Message Agreement  (above vertical norm of 1.7pt)
